C: Contrast – A difference created when elements are placed next to each other.

A: Alignment – Every element in it is visually connected  to another element.

R: Repetition – The action of repeating something that has already been said or written

P: Proximity – Proximity minimizes visual clutter, emphasizes organization and increases viewer comprehension

A Social Contract is a agreement that the class creates to help build mutual respect. The students create responses that are recorded and then signs the contract to claim that is how they want to be treated and how they will treat others.

1. How do I want to be treated by you, the teacher? I want to be respected if i am giving you respect and I don’t want you to put me down because you are feeling bad.
2. How do I think you, the teacher, wants to be treated by me the student? I think you want to be respected as we wish to be respected.
3. How should we treat each other in this classroom? We need to treat each other with equity and respect.
4. How Should we handle problems that come between us? We should figure out what the problem is, squash it and settle our differences.
